5. Sponsor your cupcakes to charity or a farewell or office party. You can expose a lot of people to your cupcakes this way.
6.Bring your cupcakes everywhere.Everytime you visit,go to a small gathering bring your cupcakes so everyone there get to sample.
Be positive. Never underestimate your friends connections or their network. Your big order or client might just be calling you!

How to introduce your cupcakes to people?
1.Start with people around you -families & friends. Tell them what you are getting yourself into and ask them for their opinion on your cakes. Take their comments positively and a way to improvise your baking skills.
2.Ask them to tell their friends. Tell them to share with their friends that you are baking cupcakes.
3.Although not many people would recommend, I would suggest that you give them an introductory price to try out your cupcakes. This would definitely pull people to buy since they might be sceptical to spend their money on a product they never tried.

Icing your cupcakes
There are many options for you to ice your cupcakes, with buttercream, fondants, royal icing etc. But I'm just going to mention about buttercream coz it's my fave!
I always think that buttercream makes the best icing on cupcakes ever. Royal icing is more for flowers and add ons that you would need to wait to let it crust. You don't have to worry so much about its consistency if you are not doing elaborated designs.
If you are making your buttercream from scratch, use the freshest ingredients and use the electrical mixer. You can store it from 3days to a week and I recommend that you beat it again before use.
